Before Fame

He moved to the United States in 1988 and received a graduate degree in music performance from the University of Southern California.

Trivia

His cello performances and compositions were featured in such films as The Da Vinci Code, The Dark Knight, Black Hawk Down, The Ring, Hannibal, and Mission: Impossible II.

Family Life

He married Eva Tillmann in September of 2002. His longtime friends included composers Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson-Williams.
