Martin Adams

Professional darts player who captained the England team for close to 20 years, from 1993 to 2013. He is a three-time BDO World Champion and three-time Masters champion.

Before Fame

He started playing darts at pubs, sponsored by Lloyds Bank, and then turned professional in 1992.

Trivia

While he won the World Dart Federation Cup singles twice, he had an unenviable track record of coming up short in major tournaments.
