Engineer and politician who was sworn in as the 67th president of Peru in March 2018. 

Before Fame

He graduated from the National University of Engineering in Lima in 1984. He also earned a degree in management administration from the School of Business Administration. 

Trivia

He was elected First Vice President of Peru in 2016. 

Family Life

His father, César Vizcarra Vargas, was the mayor of Moquegua, and his mother, Doris Cornejo, was a primary school teacher. He and his wife Maribel Díaz Cabello have several children.
