About

Award-winning actress who rose to fame for her starring role in the musical film Anna and the Apocalypse. In 2019, she starred in the coming-of-age comedy-drama Our Ladies and the drama thriller Run. Her television credits include Alex Rider and Everything I Know About Love.

Before Fame

She studied acting and English literature at Edinburgh Napier University. 

Trivia

She and her co-stars in Anna and the Apocalypse won the Best Ensemble Cast award at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. She was named Best Actress in Film at the 2021 British Academy Scotland Awards for her performance in Run.

Family Life

She is of Chinese and Scottish descent. She grew up with four sisters.
