In 1999, she graduated from the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design.

Trivia

She launched her business with a small investment. At the start, she only had one shop and few stitching machines. In 2016, she started using Swarovski crystals in her designs. In 2021, her label launched a culturally collaborative campaign with Ayeza Khan and Gulsim Ali. 

Family Life

She married Tahir Saeed. In 2020, he was arrested for sending their household cook back to his village after he had tested positive for coronavirus.
