Pop music performer who rose to fame with the number one singles "Cinderella-tachi e no Dengon" and "Kagerō." She released four studio albums, including 1987's Itoguchi and 1988's Watashi no Mama de..., before retiring.

Before Fame

She made her debut as an idol in 2918 with the band Onyanko Club.

Trivia

She released her fourth studio album, Message, in 1988. She created a musical duo side project called Ushiroyubi Sasaregumi. 

Family Life

She has a sister named Masayo. She is married to music producer Yasushi Akimoto with whom she had a daughter.
