Magic Babe Ning

About

Born Ning Cai and known to her fans as Magic Babe Ning, this South East Asian magician is famous for her touring magic act in collaboration with J C Sum, as well as for her model looks and her cover shoots for HOTstuff and FHM Singapore.

Before Fame

She performed her first magic tricks as a volunteer for the Children's Cancer Foundation and subsequently helped establish an online forum known as the Singapore Magic Circle. After completing her communications degree at Singapore's RMIT University, she began her rise to fame as the first Singaporean female professional magician.

Trivia

Her numerous honors include a 2012 Patrons of Magic Award; a 2009 International Magicians Society Merlin Award; and a 2013 International Brotherhood of Magicians honor. She set Singaporean records for her mind reading and straight jacket escape magic tricks.

Family Life

In late 2014, she retired from magic; published a memoir titled Who Is Magic Babe Ning?; and married an artist.

Associated With

Her childhood viewing of a televised magic act performed by David Copperfield inspired her to pursue a career as a magician.
