Indian actress known for her work in films as well as her turn as Chandrakanta in the TV series Chandrakanta - Ek Mayavi Prem Gaatha. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Lead Role at the Indian Telly Awards for her work on the show. 

Before Fame

She studied acting at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting School in Mumbai and also worked as a model doing advertisements for brands like Godrej, Fiama Di Wills and Karbonn Mobiles.

Trivia

One of her first major film roles was as Satya in the Telugu film Homam.

Family Life

She was born in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Her father works for Tata Steel, her mother is a mountaineer and works for an NGO, and she has a younger brother.
