Professional back-catcher that was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays during the eighth round of the 2012 Major League Draft. He was later signed by the Cincinnati Reds in November 2022. He has also played for the Cleveland Guardians, Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Before Fame

He was originally selected from the University of Kentucky. Following his junior season, he was named to the second team All-SEC.

Trivia

He made his major league debut playing against the Baltimore Orioles on September 1, 2015. He is sometimes referred to as "Lukey Barrels."

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Edgewood, Kentucky. He now lives with his wife, Paige, and their two daughters.
