Actress who made history in 2021 as the first black performer to play Christine Daaé in the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera. She played Glinda in Wicked on the West End. She had a role as a debutante in the 2017 film Beauty and the Beast. She also played Antonia in Man of La Mancha, Guenevere in Camelot in Concert, and Little Eva in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.

Before Fame

She began her vocal training at the age of seven. She left school at sixteen to pursue a performing career. 

Trivia

In 2012, she graduated from Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, England. The same year, she made her West End debut in the Ragtime ensemble at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. 

Family Life

In 2018, she married musical director and choreographer, Ben Clare. They tied the knot at Villa Balbianello on Lake Como.
