Lucy Mangan

British journalist and writer who is best known for her work as a columnist for The Guardian where she frequently writes about television and feminism. She is also known for having published her work in Stylist magazine and for having written several books including Inside Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Reluctant Bride. 

Before Fame

She attended the University of Cambridge where she studied English. She started working at a bookshop before she was given the chance to write for The Guardian in 2003. She went on to publish her first book My Family and other Disasters in 2009. 

Trivia

She is known for having been a judge for the BookTrust Roald Dahl Funny Prize. 

Family Life

She was born and raised in Catford, South East London. Both of her parents were originally from Lancashire.
