Filipino actress and exclusive artist of the GMA Network who has been widely regarded as "Asia's Pop Sweetheart." She has starred on countless television dramas and series, including Ang Panday, Luna Mystika, and Wagas. She also appeared in feature films like Temptation Island and The Wedding Hustler.

Before Fame

She started her career as a model when she was just 13. She made her first television appearance on the shows G-mik and ASAP in the early 2000s. 

Trivia

In 2024, she was inducted into the GMA GALA Hall of Fame and named a Mega Icon at the Mega Fashion Awards. She has earned countless accolades including a Mys Music Award and several FAMAS Awards. In 2003, she released her debut studio album with Star Music, titled "Heart."

Family Life

She was born to businessman and restauranteur Reynaldo Evangelista Ongpauco and Maria Cecilia del Gallego Payawal. She married politician Francis Escudero in 2015.
