Lorena Rojas

Famous for her roles in such Spanish-language telenovelas as Rosario, Pecados Ajenos, and especially El Cuerpo del Deseo, Rojas also pursued a career as a singer and songwriter. Her recordings include Deseo (2006) and Hijos del Sol (2014).

Before Fame

She began her professional acting career in 1990, appearing in the Televisa series Alcanzar Una Estrella.

Her first musical album, Como Yo No Hay Ninguna, features songs by Richard Daniel Roman.

Family Life

Born Seydi Lorena Rojas Gonzalez, she grew up in Mexico City as the sister of fellow actress Mayra Rojas. After her marriage to Patrick Shaas ended in divorce, she adopted a little girl named Luciana.

She and Mario Cimarro were both in the cast of the internationally successful soap opera El Cuerpo del Deseo.
