Lonnie Ali

About

Philanthropist known as the widow of the late boxing icon Muhammad Ali. She is also known as an advocate for Parkinson's Disease. She served as the vice president and treasurer of her husband's Greatest of All Time company until its sale in 2006.

Before Fame

She knew Muhammad Ali since she was six years old. Their mothers were best friends and they lived on the same street.

Trivia

She is a baseball fan. In 1982, she became Ali's primary caregiver. He paid for her to attend graduate school at UCLA.  She was a Catholic but embraced Islam after marrying.

Family Life

In 1986, she married Muhammad Ali. She was his fourth and final wife. They adopted a son named Asaad Amin when he was five months old.
