She once claimed that her style was almost exclusively influenced by Dean Martin during his roasts, as she never watched other comics perform; she herself was a member of several roast panels, including for Denis Leary, William Shatner, and Donald Trump.

She married her second husband, Jimmy Cannizzaro, in 2010, though she claimed she was still friends with her first husband.
