Lillo Brancato Jr.

About

Though he is also known for his role as Matthew Bevilaqua on the popular HBO series The Sopranos, Brancato is perhaps most famous for playing Calogero Anello in the 1993 Robert De Niro-directed film A Bronx Tale.

Before Fame

Before beginning his acting career, he attended Mount Saint Michael Academy in the Bronx, New York City.

Trivia

In 2005, he was charged with both second-degree murder and first-degree attempted burglary. After being convicted of the latter offense, he served a ten-year prison sentence.

Family Life

He spent his early days in Bogota, Columbia, but was raised in Yonkers, New York, U.S.A. by his adoptive parents, Domenica and Lillo Brancato.

He and Jason Gedrick were both in the cast of the short-lived CBS mobster series Falcone.
