Before Fame

She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in musical theater, attended classes at Berklee College of Music, and recieved a masters degree from Regis University.

Trivia

She had found a publisher and began submission to sell her book when her family went bankrupt following the loss of her husbands job at Blockbuster. Despite the adversity she was able to publish her first novel in 2013, and by 2015 had written ten more.

She is married and has three children.
