Journalist who became the political editor of BBC News in July 2015. She was the first woman to hold that position. 

Before Fame

She studied history at the University of Edinburgh, and journalism at Georgetown University. 

Trivia

In 2016 she was awarded Broadcaster of the Year by the Political Studies Association, and Journalist of the Year at the British Journalism Awards. 

Family Life

Her parents are Nick and Sally Kuenssberg. She has a brother, David, and sister, Joanna. She married management consultant James Kelly.
