Before Fame

He was a journalism major at the University of Missouri. Then he went on to intern at the Aids Foundation Chicago, which helped to spur his activism.

Family Life

He is from Liberty, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City. Growing up in a mostly white community with interracial parents as a queer teenager had a big influence on his life. He came out after he posted his first TikTok video.
