Egyptian professional football player who is known for his work on the Greek club Olympiacos where he plays as a forward and striker. Often loaned out from the S.C. Braga club, he is also known for his work as a striker on the Egyptian national team. 

Before Fame

His youth career first began when he started playing for the Al Ahly club. He later joined the Rio Ave club in 2011 where he would make his senior debut during the following season. He went on to make his debut with the Egyptian national team in 2013 and in 2015 he joined the Braga club. 

Trivia

He is known for having been the runner up at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and also went on to win the Africa Under 20 Championships during his 2013 season both as part of the Egypt national team. 

Family Life

He was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt and shared a photo with his nephew to Instagram in September of 2018. 

Associated With

As part of Egypt's national team, he is known for having played alongside Mohamed Hany and Mohamed Salah as part of the squad for the 2018 FIFA world Cup.
