Kokane

About

Rapper who made a name for himself in the late 80's and early 90's co-writing songs with N.W.A. and Above the Law. He released his first solo album Addictive Hip Hop Muzick in 1991 and later joined the group The Hood Mob.

Before Fame

He grew up in Pomona, California and signed to Eazy-E's Ruthless Records label in 1989.

Trivia

He is credited as Who Am I? on his debut album due to laws preventing him from using the name Kokane.

Family Life

His real name is Jerry B. Long, Jr. His father is Motown composer Jerry B. Long.
