Singer and actor known for his various appearances on the South Korean musical theater stage. He has starred in various hit musicals. He is best known for starring as the titular Hedwig in Hedwig & the Angry Inch for various different productions.

Before Fame

He began his career in 1999 as a member of the rock band Yada. They later disbanded in 2004, after having released 3 full-length studio albums.

Trivia

Other famous musicals he has starred in include Guys & Dolls as Sky Masterson, Don Juan as the titular character, and The Producers as Leo Bloom. He also appeared on the SBS drama series The King and I in 2007.

He was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea.
