Before Fame

In his first band, the Complex, he met future My Bloody Valentine drummer Colm Ó Cíosóig.

Trivia

Although he moved back to Ireland at the age of ten, he still has a U.S. passport and travels frequently.

Family Life

He was born the eldest of five children to a mother who was a nurse and a father who worked as a food industry executive.
