Kevin Magnussen

About

He made his Formula One debut in 2014, racing a McLaren MP4-27. He has raced for Haas since 2017. In 2020, he was replaced but following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he came back to replace Nikita Mazepin.

Before Fame

He began racing karts, and made his professional debut in 2008 in the Danish Formula Ford series.

Trivia

In 2013 he was the Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion. He has a total of 2 championship titles. 

Family Life

His father, Jan Magnussen, was a very successful Formula One racer. He married Louise Gjørup in 2019. The couple welcomed a daughter in 2021.

He joined McLaren in Formula One full time in 2014 as a replacement for Sergio Perez.
