Before Fame

Some of his earliest stage directing were for productions of Driving Miss Daisy and Ms. Evers' Boys in 1991.

He has directed productions of other notable plays such as A Streetcar Named Desire and The Last Night of Ballyhoo.

Family Life

He was born in Tallahassee and is an alumni of Clark Atlanta University.
