Before Fame

She attended Duke University for her undergraduate degree and later earned her master's in journalism from New York University. She started her career as a paralegal for Covington & Burling. She later joined the National Press Foundation in Washington DC as a Projects Manager. She then started her career as a reporter with the Washington Examiner.
