Karla Bonoff

American singer and songwriter who has released several albums including 1979's Restless Nights. She has written many hit songs for other artists including Home for Bonnie Raitt and Tell Me Why for Wynonna Judd.

Before Fame

She sang backup vocals for singers Linda Ronstadt and Wendy Waldman, before she released her own self titled debut album in 1977.

Trivia

Her 1984 song Somebody's Eyes was part of the soundtrack for the film Footloose.

She grew up with family in Santa Monica, California.
