American jazz and soul singer, instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, vocalist, musician, artist, entertainer, performer, and pianist who has gained fame for her singles "Pearls," "Soul Eyes," "Angel Eyes," and "Thought It Would Be Easier." She has played at several well-known venues including NYC's Carnegie Hall.

Before Fame

At the age of ten, she started taking piano lessons. She grew up listening to jazz and soul singers like Nina Simone.
