Kübra Akman

About

Turkish volleyball player who primarily plays the position of middle blocker. In 2013, she signed a multi-year contract with the Turkish-based club VakıfBank Türk Telekom. She has also played for the Turkish women's national team during her professional career. 

Before Fame

She was just a teenager when she joined Nilüfer Belediyespor. During her teen years, she also played for the Turkish youth national team. 

Trivia

While playing with Team Turkey, she won a gold medal at the 2014 Women's European Volleyball League. She was named 'Most Valuable Player' of the Women's European Volleyball League at just 20 years old. 

Family Life

She grew up living with her family in İznik, Turkey.
