In 2009, she appeared in an episode of the Danish series Manden med de gyldne ører. That same year, she starred in the Greenlandic film Nuummioq.

She was born Julie Ivalo Broberg Berthelsen. She and her husband, Minik Dahl Høegh, have two children.
