About

Most well known for her portrayal of Claire Peacock in the popular British soap opera Coronation Street, she is also recognized for her role as Jenny Oulton on Mersey Beat and for her performance as Julie Pullen on Peak Practice. 

Before Fame

After training at the Burnley Youth Theatre in Lancashire, England, she made her screen acting debut as lead character Miranda Pudsey in the English children's series Three Seven Eleven.

Trivia

She was a student at St. Christopher's CE High School and Nelson and Colne College (both in Lancashire, England).

Family Life

In 2008, she and her husband, Jon Wormald, welcomed a daughter named Sophia. Her second daughter, Amelie Grace was born in February 2013.
