Mother of Australian singers and musicians Calum Hood and Mali-koa Hood. Her son is best known as a member of the band 5 Seconds of Summer. Her daughter famously competed in The Voice Australia in 2012.

Her son told Rolling Stone that she was furious when he first joined 5 Seconds of Summer. He said she told him he had made "the worst decision" of his life and that she threw his clothes out of his closet.

Family Life

She has Maori heritage. She married David Hood. He is a former Coca-Cola employee. She raised her children in the suburbs of Sydney and in Mount Druitt, New South Wales.
