Josh Kerr

About

Former Olympic medalist who primarily competes in the men's 1,500-meter and one-mile run. He has competed internationally with Team Scotland and Team Great Britain during his racing career. In 2023, he won a gold medal at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. 

Before Fame

As a teenager, he raced for Team Great Britain 2015 European Junior Championships. He later earned a college scholarship to run at the University of New Mexico.

Trivia

He ran a career-best 3:29.05 in the men's 1500m during the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He finished the event with a bronze medal. 

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Edinburgh, Scotland. His brother, Jake, is a professional rugby union player.
