Josh Emett

Chef from New Zealand best known for being a judge for five seasons on MasterChef New Zealand, as well as a guest chef on MasterChef Australia. He is the co-owner of the Onslow Restaurant and The Oyster Inn. He is the author of the books "Cut," "Josh's Backyard BBQ," and "The Recipe."

Before Fame

He completed his chef's training at Te Pūkenga-WINTEC Culinary School.

Trivia

He is also the co-founder of the Rata Restaurant in Queenstown, as well as the restaurant chain Go-To Collection which includes Madam Woo and Hawker and Roll. He has a lengthy background in reality television and also appeared in season one of Chopped USA.

Family Life

He and his wife Helel have two sons named Finn and Louis.
