Forward who played for Real Zaragoza from 1979 to 1984 and was a member of the Argentinian national team from 1975 to 1990. He became a manager after retirement, leading Real Madrid from 1994 to 1996 and Valencia from 1996 to 1997.

He started playing soccer when he was 16 years old and began his professional career with Newell's Old Boys in 1973.
