Gamer who gained fame for his prolific career playing Tetris. He was a 7-time winner of the Classic Tetris World Championship, including the inaugural tournament in 2010.

Before Fame

He began playing Tetris around the age of 6. 

Trivia

He set the then-world record for highest score in Tetris with more than 1 million points in June 2018. He recorded the first known "maxout" Tetris game with 999,999 points in November 2006. 

Family Life

He passed away in January 2021.

He was mourned by the creator of Tetris, Alexey Pajitnov, following his January 2021 death.
