Internationally known classical musician who performed and recorded the works of such composers as Chopin, Tchaikovsky, and Prokofiev.

Before Fame

He played with the Vancouver Youth Orchestra at the age of five.

Trivia

He won the 1984 Leeds International Pianoforte Competition and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1999.

Family Life

He was born in Vancouver to Keiko Parker. His uncle was Edward Parker, and his brother James and cousin Ian would also become pianists.
