John Osteen

Founder of the Lakewood Church, a non-denominational christian ministry, and host of the weekly TV series John Osteen.

Before Fame

He graduated from John Brown University and earned his Masters from Northern Baptist Seminary.

Trivia

He was ordained as a minister in the Southern Baptist Convention, but left in 1959 to establish his own congregation.

Family Life

He had six children with his wife Dolores Osteen.

Associated With

After his death, his son Joel Osteen became head of the Lakewood Church.
