John Ortberg

About

Christian speaker and author best known as a pastor at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church in California. Among his many popular books is "When the Game is Over, It All Goes Back in the Box," which won the ECPA Christian Book Award in 2008.

Before Fame

He earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Trivia

He has spoken at many high-profile events and was the commencement speaker at Westmont College in 2007.

Family Life

His daughter, Mallory Ortberg, maintains the well-known feminist comedy blog The Toast.
