John Michael Avison Parker

Lieutenant-Commander of the Royal Navy and Private Secretary to Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinborough. He was commander of the Royal Victorian Order and accompanied the Duke on his world tour aboard the HMY Brittania.

He was born and raised in Melbourne, where he later attended Xavier College.

He is portrayed by Daniel Ings in the Netflix original The Crown.

He divorced Eileen Allen in 1958, the publicity of the two forced him to resign as the Dukes Private Secretary.
