John Fury

Former professional boxer, also known by the nickname "Gypsy," who initially competed as a bare-knuckle fighter. He came back into the spotlight after the boxing success of his son Tyson Fury. He spent five years in prison for grievous bodily harm. 

Before Fame

He began his own boxing career in the 80s. He went on to train Tyson as a boxer and encouraged him to turn pro. 

Trivia

He once defeated WBO World Champ Henry Akinwande in the boxing ring. He won 8 professional fights throughout his career. 

Family Life

He lives in Cheshire with his wife Amber. In addition to Tyson, his sons Tommy and Shane are also boxers.
