John Clive

English actor and author known for his film appearances and social fiction books such as KG200 and Barossa. He also acted onstage, appearing in productions like The Wonderful Wizard of Oz on the West End stage in London. 

Before Fame

At age 14, he left school and started working at the New Shakespeare Theatre in Liverpool. He completed service in the Royal Air Force of England.

Trivia

Outside of acting and writing, he worked as a stand-up comedian and bingo caller. His last on-screen role was in the 1997 movie RPM. 

Family Life

In 1968 he married Carole White. The couple eventually divorced and he married Bryony Elliott in 2001.

He voiced John Lennon in The Beatles Yellow Submarine animated film.
