Swedish YouTube star, writer, online content creator, social media personality, and blogger who is better known under the name "Matgeek" and best known for his Nordic culinary and food-related content. He is also the author of Smör - Kärna, Bryna, Baka (Butter - Churn, Brown, Bake), which was published in the year 2014. 

Before Fame

His interest in cooking and food began as a child after going moose hunting with his family. He studied at Uppsala University. He then worked as a PR consultant before becoming a YouTuber and blogger. He began writing his blog in the year 2009 and began posting on his YouTube channel in the year 2012.

When he's not involved in social media projects or with his blog, he enjoys traveling, skiing, and doing family activities. He is an ambassador for the brand Lundhags.  

Family Life

He was born and raised in Sala, Sweden. He has a son who sometimes joins him in his videos. He married Linnea Hedberg on August 7th, 2016.
