National Basketball League Coach of the Year in both 2004 and 2007 for the Brisbane Bullets who also won a championship as the coach for the Bullets in 2007.

Before Fame

He played his college ball primarily for the Texas Longhorns after transferring there from Drake. He helped take the Longhorns to the Elite Eight in the 1990 tournament.

Trivia

He was drafted 50th overall by the Phoenix Suns of the NBA but never appeared in an actual game.

Family Life

He had four children with his wife Kim.
