Before Fame

He had his first acting job in a Cracker Jack commercial and at five years old appeared on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, where he performed a song.

Trivia

He released his debut self-titled album in 1993.

Family Life

He married his second wife, Chandie Yawn-Nelson, in 2005 and the couple had daughters born in 2006 and 2010. He married actress Samantha Cope in the spring of 2022. He and Cope welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Dylan, in January 2023.
