Actress who won the Academy Award for Best Actress for portraying three characters in the film Three Faces of Eve. She gained further recognition after marrying movie star Paul Newman. In 1972, she starred in the drama film The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds.
