Hispanic actor who gained fame for his Emmy Award-winning role as Victor Sifuentes in L.A. Law. He would go on to win a Golden Globe for NYPD Blue and star in The West Wing, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy and The Get Down. He has amassed over 60 credits throughout his ongoing acting career.

He starred in the prequel Star Wars films in the role of Bail Organa. In 2022, he reprised the role for the Disney TV show Obi-Wan Kenobi.

He married Barbara Smits in 1981, and the couple had two children before divorcing in 1987.
