English producer and songwriter best known for his work with pop singer Sam Smith. He first worked with Smith on his Nirvana EP. He went on to co-write his hit 2014 single "Stay with Me."

Eliza Doolittle was one of the first high-profile artists he worked with. He did production and songwriting for her 2010 debut album.

Trivia

He won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for his work on "Stay with Me." He also won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for co-writing Sam Smith's "Writing's on the Wall."

Family Life

His parents are set designer John Napier and musical theatre performer Donna King. He married Matilda Napier in May 2014.
