Before Fame

He used to play bass guitar in local bands. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a degree in music education in 1998.

Trivia

His participation in open mic nights in Los Angeles and his attendance at a songwriter night at Hollywood's Hotel Café led to him opening for Gary Jules.

Family Life

He was the youngest child born to James Bianco Jr. and Jane Levy Bianco. His father traded two 35-lb. barbells and a bench press so his son could have an upright piano.
