She started acting as a child in the theatre group Kids-N-Co. She also performed with the UTEP Dinner Theatre in El Paso, Texas.

Her first screen role was in the 2006 television movie Flushing Guppies. She appeared in series including Greek, The Earliest Show and Tacoma FD.

Her real name is Jessica Renee Simpson. Her mother is from Mexico. Her father worked as a dermatologist.
